Yiki Wang is a Toronto-based guitarist inspired by the swing guitar tradition of Charlie Christian. Born and raised in Shanghai, Yiki fell in love with American music through the blues recordings of Robert Johnson — a journey that eventually led him to the jazz guitar sound of Eddie Lang and Charlie Christian.
A dedicated guitar educator, Yiki has spent years sharing his love of the music with students of all levels and ages.
As a performer, Yiki tries his best to deliver the swinging sound of early jazz guitar.
